Echo Valley Provincial Park

Echo Valley Provincial Park occupies a particularly beautiful stretch of the Qu'Appelle Valley, wedged between Echo Lake to the west and Pasqua Lake to the east. The valley's steep, wooded slopes create a sense of enclosure that feels remarkably intimate for a prairie landscape, and the two lakes offer different characters — Echo tends toward the scenic and peaceful while Pasqua sees more boating activity. The campground sits near the valley floor with easy access to the lakeshore and trail network.

Walleye fishing in both lakes attracts anglers throughout the season, and the valley trails provide hiking and cycling options with views that improve with elevation. The park is well-positioned relative to the other Qu'Appelle parks — Fort Qu'Appelle is minutes away, and Crooked Lake and Katepwa are short drives east — making it an excellent base for exploring the full valley system. Regina campers make up a large share of the park's visitors, with the roughly one-hour drive making Echo Valley a genuine weekend option.
