Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park

Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park occupies one of the most geographically dramatic settings in the provincial park system, sitting at the confluence of the South Saskatchewan River valley and the west end of Lake Diefenbaker. The park marks the site of a historic river crossing used by Indigenous peoples, Métis buffalo hunters, NWMP patrols, and early settlers moving west along the Battleford Trail, and the wide valley views from the campground carry a tangible sense of that history.

The park's coulees, grassland slopes, and lake access create a combination of activities spanning fishing, boating, hiking, and wildlife watching for deer, hawks, and prairie species. Lake Diefenbaker here is wide and wind-exposed, attracting sailors and powerboaters.
